Lovely win by Purito

Gesink tests himself and passes. :D Just a shame it didn't yield him the stage.

Hope he'll stick to the original plan and not try again tomorrow.

Agreed. He placated me. ;) Looks strong already.
Oh, and for the record, Gesink always looks like he's suffering. He does not have a poker face like VDB2. :p

Well, J Rod was always the man in form, as opposed to those looking to come into form.
In that respect, a good return for Bobby G.
JvDB and he will be strongly contesting the Tour undercard.

Wiggins looking to be getting well along to his 2009 form.

Gesink indeed did a major test today

But good effort for the last 400 m

What did you expect? That he would win with 2 a minutes lead on the next climber?

Can't wait for the Vuelta, if Rodriguez is going to show up in form (not ride himself into form like the Giro...).

He did well, we don't need him peaking tho.

After intense altitude training I hope to see him better then we have ever seen him come july :)

Great win for Quim, he is still one of the best in the world on his day.

Gesink putting doubts about his TDF preparation firmly to rest.

Evans looks unsteady but has plenty of time to put it right.

Wiggins is on track for the biggest win of his career, he even increased the gap to 2nd today. Lots of climbing tomorrow but none of it super steep and Sky look strong enough.

indeed.

Jrod is the most disappointing aspect in reflection of the giro.

what about tony martin?

Tony decided to deny himself the victory to ensure that his victorious ride to the top of the TdF is that much sweeter. :D
