bombers upset cats. Was a thrilling finish tho. 4 points.
I really can't stand bombers, but whatever.

Cav needs to fight much harder for intermediate points if he really wants the maillot vert.

Surprising, no Petacchi or Cavendish up there in the intermediate. Ferrar looked strong though, very strong.

I think I like this new system.

Uuummmm, well it's different.
I wouldn't read much into that. Even Boonan beat Cav.
I'm not sure whether it's going to have an impact on breakaways.
Means two periods of dead slow from the peloton.

Cavendish had no speed in his legs. Sucked badly.

Just didnt seem very interested - slow lead out and then didn't make a proper effort to get up to speed himself.

History shows pretty clearly he genuinely can't be arsed when a stage win isn't involved, even if there's a longer term benefit.

Vino sighting.

Also those watching British Eurosport, what sort of things have the studio and Harmonn Kelly been saying? Who do they regard as the favourites?

Well if he wants to win green he should get serious

We'll see - he's been pretty disparaging of the green in the past, I think he'd go away very happy with 4 stages and no green this year.
