Some of you guys...

Flat stages suck, breakaways suck, MTF finishes suck unless all the GC contenders kill themselves and even then they suck unless someone had an EPO rocket strapped to his bike, ardennes style stages suck, ITTs suck, TTTs suck.

What a bunch of suckers.

Bike racing is a diverse sport, take pleasure in that diversity

morons.

The reason why people get annoyed by stages can be seen in the first few pages of this thread. There were completely unrealistic expections of what might happen. Sanchez to attack on the descent, Contador to attack to the way up, Gilbert to attack 100km out etc. These were never going to happen. The sane people just said 'it'll be a breakaway'.

Edit: And just as I press submit, Contador attacks.

I always love it when the breakaway rider/riders succeeds

If you got the balls to take the peleton on you deserve to win...

I've enjoyed Hushovd this Tour, but I couldn't bare seeing him win another stage.

I'm afraid he's going to crush everyone in the descent.

Go Ryder.

Paul just said Ryder has a MTB background, so.....

Paul Sherwen on the logic of Ryder Hesjedal being a former MTB rider = somebody who own's on the descent.

gesink already dropped . . . .

its pathetic that he is still racing. he should be getting ready for the vuelta

He doesn't want to let down his teammates who worked so hard for him by giving up. Apparently getting dropped every time the road goes up a tiny bit is great way to reward them ^^.

And Contador going!
