thats what I dont get though

if everyone has given up the chase for green - why is the pace so high coming to the intermediate sprint?

maximum points for Rojas then Cav not making the finish probably. They know they can't beat him in a sprint, but they'll hope the 3 climbs today will beat him for them.

Evans can begin to panick when things arn't going the way he had planned so I wouldn't be suprised if Leopard Trek go full gas up on the second climb to leave Evans isolated.

The Schlecks better make sure they aren't dropping themselves with that tactic...

Should be at the sprint now...

Edit: 1km to go, and 7 now away lol. Fail if the bunch was trying to win it.

Avg. Speed: 49km/h

Do people think the Schlecks will try what they did in 2009? Double team on the main GC riders or are there too many riders to do that to? I.e last time it was just Evans IIRC, this time they have Evans, Bertie, Basso, Sammy & TV?

They've been trying to do that right from the Pyrenees but all they managed to gain was a grand total of 15 seconds for the brothers combined.

Come on, TDF ticker!!

Certainly having a bad one today.

If we can believe it the 7 have been caught.

Sprint results aren't up yet so we can't check who it was.

They havent really attacked........attacked........attacked..........attacked though have they? Is it because AS isnt on his game? or because Bertie etc are too strong for them?

Dissappointing break for a mountain stage. Not least because I didn't call any of them.

Well, Bookwalter isn't going to be much help on a parcours like we have today.
BTW any live streams up yet?
