Time to slow it down, if they keep this up they will be on Agnello before coverage starts :(

If I can trust my tv program, coverage starts at 13:15 CET already today, no way they are that fast. ;)

Will today's topic beat the 2700+ replies of the Luz Ardiden stage?:p

I think it will, I can see this hitting 3k today.:D

Today is surely TV's last day in yellow as I expect AC's attacks to dramatically alter the top 5. It remains to be seen if Schlecklet can actually force himself to go through with an attack, rather than stopping to turn around and look for Frank all the time - if he can, we might just have ourselves a proper race between the two best climbers.

Does anyone think that Evans will have any BMC riders with him at the start of the final climb? Morabito maybe?

Maybe. I think there will be riders for GC wanting to get rid of others domestiques before Galibier, so that on Izoard there are maybe 20-25 riders left.

Yup, Cav pretty much has green in the bag, unless he finishes outside the limit (which I don't see happening).
I really hope Euskaltel, Liqui and Saxo drill it as soon as they hit Agnel.

Depends how hard the early pace is and if BMC have one in the break'

if the pace in on maybe but not likely unless they ride above themselves

Quite possibly Moinard ... but it probably won't matter. With 10km to go maybe ony Leopard and Liquigas will have two guys in the lead group.

thats what I dont get though

if everyone has given up the chase for green - why is the pace so high coming to the intermediate sprint?

The day is made for Stewie and Jens and Hincape to flog themselves to death and El Pistolero to follow it all and he and evans at the end again. Voeckler to hang on one last time.

Evans can begin to panick when things arn't going the way he had planned so I wouldn't be suprised if Leopard Trek go full gas up on the second climb to leave Evans isolated.
