Is that the full interpretation of all those arm signals he was making?

A sympathetic and worthy winner, well done! If today's hills can wreak this kind of havoc, what's gonna happen tomorrow?

yep that's what that was about

This doesn't happen to Menchov if he's on race winning form. But I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings.
Yeah but his chances of being in race-winning form at any GT are approximately 50%.

Also, can't believe Astana chose to support Kashechkin, who has done ******-all ever since he came back, ahead of Kiserlovski.

Didn't hurt my feelings. There's more important things in life than a cycling forum. Feel sorry for you really. You just made yourself look a ***.

Anyway, I need to get back to watching some cycling.....:rolleyes:

Kessiakoff. Is it silly to say this might be a political issue as well? :)

Surely might be. Kangert had a pedal problem while riding the TTT and he was just ahead of Kascheckin at the moment. He said that if he would have crashed, he would be nr.1 enemy of the great state of Kazachstan (or something) and wouldn't be writing this at the moment :p

By the way, they added the last of the results right now, Cavendish with other in the grupetto, while Geniez losing 23 minutes and 11 minutes to the grupetto?? Farrar finished ahead of the group by 31s and with Kloeden??

2nd by the way, Lastras is the leader in all classements!! 4 jerseys!!

Kloden finished +12.19 today along with De Weert and Carrara. Geniez, last at 23.16 over ten minutes behind the grupetto, must have crashed or be sick.

No, I meant not going with Kiserlovski a priori, before the Vuelta even started. And yes, I suspect it's political and that it'll only get worse as we get more "national" teams.

Sastre said in his twitter, that he missed it because of bad form (or he is in bad form, don't remember exactly.) So he surely can't be very good...
Menchov and him, can no longer hide anymore. This movie has been going on all year...

2 minutes behind Devolder and we all saw how well Stijn was climbing!
Still, at least he beat Cav........by 31 seconds.

TGBM looking very good (to the extent that someone with such an awful style can look good). I said it before: he could be a good Vuelta rider. He likes Spain, that's a start.

Kruijswijk not great, but if his two Giros are any indication it's all upwards from here. What I don't understand is that Rabo seemed to drive the front group when one of their GC riders fell behind.

kruijswijk had a mechanical problem, just when the action started.. So at least it wasnt bad form and i expect to see him up front tomorrow (crosses fingers)..

Horrid timing but should still be a good chance of a top ten then.

If Geox fail at the end as things look now, will the Geox sponsors who were not happy with the none WT status for this year but hung around anyway pull the plug on the team ?

Diadora maybe sponsor a team, I know of one team whos leader has a personal sponsorship with them maybe they sign on ?

Just making rumours with the 2nd bit, but what do you folks think.

I'll be interested to know if Duarte was dropped (which wouldn't be a surprise given his preparation) or was told to stay with Menchov. It's a shame that the TV cameras didn't catch Menchov being dropped.

I would have gone with Kessiakoff a priori, something I've also done in my prono's.

Kiserlovski wasn't very impressive after what happened at this year's PN.
