Another big fail by CN :)

Airstream: exactly. Rujano will have to attack like a mad man, hopefully Purito or Moreno will follow

Probably, Hesjedal has captured Maglia Rosa at least until the stage with Giau, what you think?

Probably won't want to hold it for all that time if the team actually think he can win. If they're backing him to win, look for them to offload it to an unthreatening breakaway halfway through week 2. If they don't think he can win, then Garmin will be on the front every day to maintain that jersey. Remember the gaps are still small, so even if he doesn't crack big on Cervinia or Pian dei Resinelli he could still find himself being overtaken for the jersey. And with a couple of steep short finishes to come with bonus seconds available, yes they're things that suit Hesjedal, but if J-Rod picks up a couple of stages and the bonuses that come with it...

Damn, where is the stage standing? Such a mess never occurs on letourfr. :)

will10, I see. But exactly this might be a problem judging by today's stage. Rujano finished together with Basso and Kreuziger, has anyone noticed?

maybe 5-6 gc guys together?
if so, Hesjedal won't be between them.
Very possibly, though if Hesjedal is on a really good form, it will be difficult to drop him. He proved himself in very very wide range of specializations.

For sure, but I could find the only stage that suits Purito really well so it's quite an unsteady guarantee to gain the time. Besides, if I recall correctly, he got zero on the hilly finishes in last year's Giro.

I'm expecting the real mountains stages to see what he can do, but i bet he will crack big time in at least one of the hard stages, the guy isn't a regular climber, sometimes very good, sometimes very bad.

My constant hitting refresh pays off - stats are up

And I guess some people were hitting refresh at a higher rate than me

Uran not looking very good, I expected more from him on such a finish

I don't think he is fully recovered from his injury at Fleche Wallone, slowly riding himself into form imo, expect him more in 3rd week.
