Cyclingnews reckon the leaders are busy noshing away but that is quite low for this stage of the race, be interesting to know who are doing the chasing.

Could just be a glitch but Ponzi seems to have gone missing from the break

Edit: aah, beaten to it! How could he have been dropped because it is flat? If it is just 5 now then that is a blow for their chances of staying away.

Maybe the sprinters' teams thought they would do some early hard work to allow a longer, lazier lunch?

ponzi was called back by his team.mainly because this breakaway is doomed from the start.

No news on who took the all important 6th place in the intermediate sprint and the valuable one point.

I really hope the riders are not looking at this forum for their tactics - not during the stage anyway

Didn't you post the exact same thing yesterday?

Its nicely economical to keep posting the same thing, less effort. ;)

Had thought maybe the break would be allowed to go today but unfortunately it seems I'm wrong. Pity.

I've been waiting for a slow day to ask this:

Does anyone else, while watching a GT, get so fed up with seeing certain commercials over and over again that you vow never to buy the damned product being advertised?

Yes.

Same holds true for baseball, I see so many of the same adverts over the course of a season, several times per game for however many games I actually watch (40-50ish for me, Others will be in the couple of hundred range).

Who sets the pace on a slow day like today?

Is it the break (as the peloton don't want to catch them too early) or the teams (and the break keep themselves a few minutes ahead).

Here in Asia, the ads are cut out as Eurosport is a pay channel on Astro cable. They are replaced by Eurosport trailers. Vera Zvonerava still hasn't finished her sentence after 2 years. Definitely time for some new ones.
