pozzovivo ftw, his last momentum of glory before he cracks in 3rd week. Purito will lose 30-45 seconds to the other contenders.

I hopes he wins this, I really liked his other win. I'm not that sure he will crack though.

Alternatively, Frank ftw just for the hell of it.

Kudos for Cavendish staying and fighting to finish the race
I dont think that he will but he deserves some respect
Wasn't that off hand remark by Contador that "he is in Giro just for one week tops"?
Mark heard of that and got all set on proving Alberto wrong.

No lol, he decided before Giro he was doing all of it ( meaning he won't finish Tour basically ) but it was thought he would leave today. Still deserves a lot of respect.

first hour average speed :51 km/h!
no breakaway yet
i'm curioous if they will go like that for another hour, then hit the climbs...that will destroy some legs.

It seems like they don't want a break before the moutain.

Let's not talk about Cavendish during the first stage of this Giro shall we. ;)

Well, not during the stage, but as soon as it finishes I can guarantee some on here will be calculating the time limit ;)

Where's the guy who says it's easy to get into the break and why Saxo haven't been doing it?

i'm sure a break is forming right now
if they would go at 48 km/h for 135 km,then it will be all over the place on the climbs i guess

Yeah, usually when a race starts like this, it's then piano for the next two hours after the break is formed.

Mission accomplished by the favourites - no-one dangerous.

I was in those conversation, and I still think if you want then you can get in a breakaway. I have said that Saxo should put 3 riders somewhere on the front, and every time someone attacks then one of them should go with him/them. Why can Kaisen and Keizer get so many times in a break?
What is their only chance? Sprint with the Haedos, and go into a break. The first not really working, and still only Boaro was in a break. It's a bad joke what they are doing out there. They need points, need some result, but it seems like that they don't want to do anything to reach it.

Hello! :D

I never said it was easy, but the truth is that they've been missing a lot of them which I don't think it's normal considering they don't have any other targets.
