Awesome show of power by Liquigas. Say what you want but Caruso and co are doing an amazing job and Szmyd hasn't even been used yet.

Isn't his fault though. It's a pity that you (and me too in other cases, I don't care about Kreuziger) like riders cracking simply because they are overhyped by a third party.

It looks like he's done, but bear in mind that twice in the Vuelta Chris Froome was distanced on penultimate climbs only to come back and then be the strongest on the final climb.

Frankly if people are going to lay into Ryo for his Rujano-hype (ignoring the fact that his Henao predictions seem to be right on the money), then laying into the Kreuziger lovers who assured us he could podium this Giro seems reasonable.
