Frankly if people are going to lay into Ryo for his Rujano-hype (ignoring the fact that his Henao predictions seem to be right on the money), then laying into the Kreuziger lovers who assured us he could podium this Giro seems reasonable.

Lots of people hyped Henao. Stop claiming that Ryo (whose predictions for Henao were pretty tame, and whose rujano predictions failed spectacularly) is the only one who deserves praise for one of the most hyped riders on the forum:rolleyes:

lol you are so full of it again. I already hyped him before you ever knew him. also I said last year he could finish top 3 giro immediately and he would need no time to adapt to wt.

yeah how about my henao predictions? oh wait...

Stopped clock is right twice a day. Everyone with eyes has seen Henao has great talent for at least the last year.

Of the hundreds (2 can play at hypobole) of South Americans you hype, Henao is the one you always play down and suggest has weaknesses (presumably he's too mainstream for you now?) compared to all the other guaranteed GT winners down there.

danilo di luca 2.0 is doing a great job at the front. hesjedal not looking all that good.

but he will get about 20 minutes on the itt so he is still good for the win ;)

C'mon Ryder!

(I didn't see how he looked, but I did see him tucked in behind Liquigas and Lampre with Rodriguez)

WE WANT ACTION :)

weve been waiting so long haha

And I presume by action you mean the race, and not more "who hyped whom first" forum action, right?

Kreuzinger looks to be exactly 1 km (so probably around 1 minute) behind at this point

What was Ryo's prediction for Henao's giro? That he'd fairly anonymously slip into the top ten? If so, he's right on so far, but I reckon that would've been most people's bet as well.

Kreuziger isn't capable of drilling the descent. Stetina, who is not a particularly amazing descender, looks very comfortable in his group.

As noted, your achievement would be more impressive if you hadn't hyped every South American rider and waited for 1 or 2 to justify 5% of that hype.

It would be even more impressive if you were able to admit to weakness in other South American riders when they clearly and persistently show it.
