Sorry guys, but I'm not following the stage closely and I admit I have no idea about this - is e.g. Serpa a good enough descender to try and win the stage?

Just tuned in. Would somebody be so kind to inform me about the situation and what's happened so far?

Did liquigas already spend Szmyd?

He's been sitting in the pack. I don't know if he's not feeling great, but he's not been on the front at any time. Perhaps they are holding him in reserve.

Contador and Rodriguez? Leaving his self-image aside, has Rujano somehow failed to notice Andy Schleck?

Actually, given that Rujano doesn't ride the Tour, perhaps it's unfair to expect him to know that the anonymous gangly rider he might see towards the back of race is actually one of the two best climbers in the world.

Remember that when he made that statement (early 2010) Schleck had shown his skills a few times, but not come within 4 minutes of Contador at the Tour, and Rodríguez had only just moved to Katyusha, however, Rujano would have had first hand experience of his quality after riding with him at Caisse.

Besides, when the gradient gets super-steep, J-Rod > Schleck. But when the climb gets long, Schleck > J-Rod. But more GTs are predicated on long, difficult climbs than the puncheur and mid-length ones J-Rod specialises in.

0 times? Except Serpa breaking his finger maybe.

Henao (especially) and Uran are doing fine?

You're being too hard and unfair to Ryo now

Hardly. Just a couple of examples that I found quickly:

Regarding Ferrari:
