like i thought all along

it hapepend countless times before like in 2006 when they were supposed to climb monti delle laga (or whatever it was called) and the climb was then cancelled because of snow

Probably true.

The alternative tomorrow will still provide an interesting hilly finish, but something will be missing without Lanciano.

radioshack has it in the bag.or cancellara who looks in uber awesome shape or horner.
prati di tivo has i think same altitude and in the abruzzo too,snow everywhere there.

suddenly paris-nice will be way better
also no chance for the colombians to make the top 50 overall.sad day.

this stage will be obviously the best stage of early season :p but still sad to see lanciano cancelled

It's not that straightforward actually... Sassotetto is comparable in altitude and they climbed it two years ago (if I remember well). Te problem is that this has been a pretty strange winter, if they held the race in January they wouldn't have found snow at all.

can someone show us on a profile how the tomorrow stage will look please?
they say there will still be 250 km so at least it won't be easy.

So it's a done deal then, the stage will be modified? Or is there still a chance they will race according to the original route?
