Team Sky and Wiggo paying back for all the work Edvald has done in the mountains. Nicely done, Sagan and Greipel had his wheel, and is just faster. Plain and simple.

very close, Sagan threw the wheel too late...
anyway SKY killed any chances for EBH today after the mountain, they let Greipel get back, did Hagen deserved this after the incredible job done in the Alps? definately not

Funny how people act like Sky is not allowed to try and win the stage. If it didn't work out for EBH then it didn't work out. But it's a goddamn race.

Sagan would still have beaten him anyway.

Team Sky are going to get lots of enemies after today. Lulu is absolutely furious.

The will be terrified of Rabobank.:p
A few friends, too, with Greipel, Sagan, Hinault etc.

Wiggins just saying thanks to EBH for all his hard work.
What's the problem?
(EBH was always 3rd best of that 3 up)

Bit of a pointless gesure given all the work in the mountain.

Last year Edvald beat Griepel more often that not. After all the riding he's done this year he never had a chance, so it was all a bit odd.

EBH took a lot of wind for Wiggo and didn't have much left in the sprint. Not sure he would have much of a chance anyway.

Nicely done by Wiggo, he wanted to give EBH a chance to win.

what a success that was

Basically Sky bringing Greipel the win

EBH not a top sprinter anymore
he should ride for GC while in SKY, or just be a superb working horse for other SKY guys

very possible, but it wouldve been like 65-35% battle and with the technical finish you never know what can happen... yet letting Greipel get back was as stupid if they ever cared for EBH as it can get

I think they waited, because they were not sure how far is Cavendish back, and when they realized that he is 1 minute hehind, then they started working.
