Oh God, here we go again.
Another dose of Sky bashing.

How folks would rather see a 3 week race settled by a mishap, than by actual racing is beyond me.
I'm not particularly fond of Garmin, but I'm very disappointed to see some of their GC hopefuls cut down by a crash.
Danielson VDV and Dan Martin all suffered. Voeckler is a gonner.
It's not good for the race.
We lost enough GC men before the major mountains, last year.

Hope he(Menchov) will get same time as first group behind Sagan... Will take hours now to get to know how they handle it.

Confirmation that it was Wiggins?

As far as I could see it there were three Sky's in the last half of the peloton. The first two, among which Froome, arrived at the scene of the crash 5 seconds later, after many other guys already managed to go around the crash. The Sky guys crashed into each other and unclipped. Another 3/4 seconds later Wiggins arrives, also pretends something is wrong with his bike, unclips, and continues in leisurely pace.

How would Wiggins losing the few seconds he was on course to losing "settle a 3 week race"? He caught a lucky break and took full advantage of the rules as they stand. Which is smart, but is always going to irritate some people.

For the benefit of anyone reading this who didn't see the stage, I suggest you watch the highlights and make your own mind up. It seems Arnout saw what he wanted to see, rather than what actually happened.

So what did I tell that wasn't correct?

You forgot that Wiggins was clearly powering up the climb in 50th position completely in control of the race thanks to his altitude training.
