Anyone else think Froome did not look comfortable under the pressure from Saxo? Does he always ride sort of hunched up under pressure?

Even when not under pressure actually.

Yay Clarke!

As for Froome, he definitely looked a lot more comfortable than yesterday. Of course, it was also an easier climb.

Pretty god damn boring stage (saved only by a crash of Valverde) in hindsight.

Turns out Cunego was actually in the lead group.
Hope he loses some more minutes and then goes stage hunting all the way to Madrid.

OK I hate too jinx em(sorry dutch mafia) but one of the Rabo boy's is going to win this Vuelta.....
Exhibit A.... major crash no rabo gc involved, no losing time or injury
Exhibit B.... Bertie and Foome dont look great, they been off the front twice and gained a mighty 6s
Im calling it Gesink FTW

Valverde fall, Martin and Clarke survivors of break, interesting begin of climb that ends in uberfail.

How about the total splittering of the peloton as a result of Sky's sidewind attack? Sky that, perhaps controversally, continues after Valverde goes down...

And another great stage. Just as it was getting boring, Sky speed up, echolons, chaos (it's a pitty Valverde lost his time due to a crash, though). I was really surprised that AC made it to the front group- he used to lose time in the wind in earlier races and I am quite sure that he was the true target for Sky. However, Clarke and Martin did a fabulous job at the front (I would have liked to see Martin take the win, but Clarke also deserved it). I did not understand the move of AC and Navarro in the back. Just a waste of energy. No wonder Froome did not do much to back up this move. Nice thing that they let Roche have a go. Like they said on Eurosport. This Vuelta already saw more attacks than the whole TdF. Nice race, really nice!

Today everybody was predicting a 25-man sprint, and that's roughly what we got. No way Contador and Froome could gap the other favourites, and they still managed to drop them in the part of the climb that was an actual climb (although at least some contenders must have decided trying to follow them wasn't worth the effort, as it all would come back together in the false flat).

All Rabobank riders are looking OK (Ten Dam the best of them, lol), but so far both Contador and Froome have shown they're stronger.
