Hmm... gotta say my reaction to the crash (other than jumping up and starring at the screen...) and the fact that commentators called it "Huge" was basically
"It wasn't that big... smaller than Metz..."

Kinda disappointing finish. Nice win for Clark, but too bad Roche, Contador and Froome just gave up.

It's logical though. Froome would've beaten Alberto in the sprint and thus Alberto would've lost another 4 seconds or maybe even 8 with Roche there.

Haha, who was that Caja Rural rider who thought he won? I actually feel really bad for him.

Yeah me too, poor guy he was so happy :(

OK I hate too jinx em(sorry dutch mafia) but one of the Rabo boy's is going to win this Vuelta.....
Exhibit A.... major crash no rabo gc involved, no losing time or injury
Exhibit B.... Bertie and Foome dont look great, they been off the front twice and gained a mighty 6s
Im calling it Gesink FTW

Not gonna happen, btw Alberto looked good but so did Froome, on the big mountains they'll gain minutes. I'm afraid this is gonna get decided in the TT.

Sky did nothing wrong, that being said if it was Bertie that crashed im pretty sure they would have stopped. There did seem one or two other teams happy to help when it was piti/moviestar.

Today everybody was predicting a 25-man sprint, and that's roughly what we got. No way Contador and Froome could gap the other favourites, and they still managed to drop them in the part of the climb that was an actual climb (although at least some contenders must have decided trying to follow them wasn't worth the effort, as it all would come back together in the false flat).

All Rabobank riders are looking OK (Ten Dam the best of them, lol), but so far both Contador and Froome have shown they're stronger.

I agree, but both dont look great and does seem so far Bertie trying to break froome not gap him as such(right plan too none of this tempo x watts) and I dont think froome will be able too resist going with one of these hard attacks and will crack.
Meanwhile raboboys will chug along getting stronger and stronger(physically)
Question is do they believe.

Is there a twitter war going on already between Froome's and Valverde's girlfriends?

Gesink looks okay, but nothing special. Not the form to beat Contador, even if the latter is slightly off. And not the form that he had three years ago, when he would have shot off the front from a group like this to gain some seconds.

Except that they're saying Sky caused the crash, which is different.

You're not serious right? Maybe Contador and Froome don't look in their absolute best shape, but still easily more than good enough to beat Mollema and Gesink (who don't look that great either).

Just because they accelerated suddenly doesn't mean that it's their fault that somebody decided that he could only keep up by swerving.

Gesink seems to like Piti as well. Tweeted that he met Piti a few times during training rides. Piti seems to be a nice guy, when not ****ed off :p

Phil thinks he's a jerk.

Phil > Gesink

So Phil wins. :D

I thought Valverde divorced. Unless you're talking about his right hand.
