Nibali 2.2
Sir W 3.28
Hesje 5.56
Cadel 12.9

Current odds

Think im gonna put my money on Hesjedal right now. He looks as strong as Nibali so far in my opinion.

Hesejedal looks very good odds, he looks stronger than Nibali.

I'm starting to think Henao would have a good chance to go on to win the Giro if he hadn't went back for Wiggins. He would be 37s back, or 17s if he hadn't lost time on Stage 3, and he is more likely than Wiggins to take substantial time on Nibali in the mountains.

Sky really needs to end this 'Wiggins or nothing' bullcrap.

Too late, they'll stick to Sir Wiggo until he leaves the Giro at some point in time.

+1, Wiggins was good last year, but 2013 Wiggins does not equal 2012 Wiggins. Need to start putting a little more of their resources into the Colombians.

Yes, this is more of a Vuelta 2011 Wiggins than a Tour 2012. If they play their cards right, they still have a chance to win. But they'll have to use their three top riders to do it.

I agree with the first part, but can't see past Nibali now, whatever Sky do, they'll only be fighting for second place

As a Brit, and someone who still loves procycling, I am enjoying the Giro!
3 stages won by a fellow Brit, and none of them Sky riders:)
(Pity about the TTT, but in a way, that has just made the rest even sweeter)

At this point I would bet on Majka, but I hope to see Betancur get it.

Majka's form has been improving rapidly, my thoughts exactly. Betancur should do some amazing mountain raids the coming weeks, and secure this jersey.

Don't forget that Kelderman already lost more than a minute to Majka and Betancur because of a crash in the stage Paolini won. He should have been further ahead. He's climbing as well as both of them.

Betancur also lost time because of a crash on that stage.

Gesink had his best first week ever. And Evans looks back to his best as well.
And Scarponi looks absolutely stunning as well.

We'll know more after the first mountain stage, but it's shaping up to be a fantastic Giro

I think the big difference is his mental state. 2012 he was fully supported by Sky, and everything went his way including the TdF parcours, whilst his rivals seem to be short on luck.

This year, the parcours doesn't suit him, his rivals are stronger than he would have expected and he hasn't had the success or Sky support heading in.

Yes. That's why I say Kelderman lost a minute. To the main contenders he lost more.

Nibali looks to have a real killer instinct this year. Top favourite now IMO.
The guy just keeps on progressing. That TT he did yesterday, you could see from the first kilometers that he was on a good one. Very smooth.

After one week of really hard racing, that's one hell of a result I'd say.
I want to believe in a top 15 for him, that would be awesome with such a field.

Exceeding anything I could hope for him. Amazing talent. As a neo pro, being 23rd in such a tough ITT is an outstanding result.

On a general note, I'd say this is still a very open Giro. Nibbles has had an off day in most GT he's ridden. I clearly remember how people would say it was his race to lose after the long ITT in Vuelta 2011. And then he faded.
I don't agree with who says Astana isn't strong enough to control the race though. Kessi is clearly improving. Aru and Kangert are in beast mode. And I'm pretty sure Tira's worst days are behind him.

Gesink has been amazingly out of trouble in this first week. I've been let down so many times that I can't be optimistic but who knows.
I do believe Cadel will fade eventually, while I'm pretty sure Ryder will be among the strongest in the third week. Don't know what to do with Wiggo. Scarponi has done great ITTs before so his performance didn't shock me, he must have very good legs and could be Nibbles biggest threat.

Have to say that I loved yesterday's course, something for everyone. However given how hard it was I believe that it would have been better with a flat TT rather than a MTT to even it out.
