Ride the first stage then quit? :D
it would be a huge fail. Stage 1 will go to a puncheur at 60%
at 40% it will go to the guy who'll manage to stay upon his bike after the crashfest. :D

Makes sense for Cav - he's used to riding the Giro most years for Tour prep, and the reality is there are very few races outside MSR and Grand Tour stages which have any value for his palmares, so he might as well go for 2 or 3 stages at the Giro rather than pratting around in California or Germany.

He should go to California only to prevent a Sagan anihilation. Please :)

Pozzovivo AG2R's Giro leader. He's going to kick Rujano's @ss big time. :)

Yep, Dr. Pozzovivo is going to teach Wiggo how a real cyclist climbs. :D

Very nice curious to see how he will go at the Giro when he is fineally peaking for the giro instead of Trentino.

Vuelta will still be better for him this year though.

Gadret is not going to do the Giro, he is doing the Tour this year.

And about Pozzo peaking, he peaked at the time he wanted last year, he somehow wanted to win Trentino.

What's the point of moving to Ag2R if he wants to keep doing the Giro? I thought he would go for the Tour. Maybe the Vuelta then. And I'm not sure about all that peaking stuff. Maybe he's just not good enough along the 3 weeks; also he may be a bit overrated as a climber based on some hot performances. A bit like Anton actually after winning a couple of mountain stages in a spectacular way, namely Zoncolan (Nibali and Contador), Andorra (Mosquera, Rodriguez) and Morredero (Soler, Mosquera and Contador).

Argos better send Degenkolb to the Giro.

Top 20? Who "educates" these riders?
Peterson has a good management, the Berkhout brothers. They can really sell their riders.

Argos, for instance, wanted an American GC guy for their sponsor Felt. Well, there you go.

lots of that going on for sure, but I doubt Mr Peterson will be wildly noticeable in the Giro, certainly not if he tries for a top 20 the "hang on" way. We shall see.

Kittel will do the Giro(said it himself), probably to find out he gets dropped even on the flat stages there. :p Then after a week he'll pull out, having barely managed to make it to the finish in time on the harder stages.

They'd better swap their license with Katusha's, at least they've got some climbers. Argos's program last year was perfect(although they were somehow invited to Catalunya), why wpuld they even want to ride the Giro when they have no decent riders? Everyone on the team wants to ride the Tour anyway, earns a lot more money with Degenkolb than Peterson.
