If Henao and Quintana were the only riders you had hyped, you'd have a point.

However, your ultimate hype is reserved for Rujano.

I would like to believe that top-10 from Machado, but realistically top 13-20 it's his ceiling.

He keeps training almost the same way when he was riding for Boavista and when you are on a Pro Tour team and you keep training like you are on Continental team, it's a bad sign. :(

I feel disappointed, because he has the talent for top-10 on GT general classification, but doesn't train properly and hard enough.

Don't know why, when he's in Portugal training, it's always the same routines, almost the same routes, mostly with the same cycling partners (portuguese cycling friends), i think he need a more competitive environment.

Just the gear and team training camp's are different than Boavista times, he should buy/rent a house like many others in Catalunha/Nice/whatever, start training with international level cycling racers on harder routes.

P.S - This was till last year (2012), right now i don't know if this changed. ;)

You should have told him that while you had the chance :p And ya his training seems to still be like that from what he says on his site, but Costa also seems to train like that and it has not been hurting him

He seems to have changed his training this year i remember reading that in RNT website and in his blog let's what impact will that have in his performance.

His main problem i think is that he is not really a science type of rider, he has no idea why he has to ride this way somedays and other ways the other days he just does what he is told to, i think that when you have this type of rider you either encourage him to learn more about training and all that or you need to have the trainer follow everything he does closely which was not happening before and i think it's happening more now

Hope your right, he really needs to step up now because his chances to be the leader of a top caliber team are ending.

"I was really within myself on the whole climb. It was good being with Vincenzo because we could really see what each other has got. I was letting him go and then reacting to his attacks, to see if he could sustain them," Wiggins said.

"I was always conscious of the fact that if I went, then Kansta (Siutsou) could have lost the stage. But he won the stage, so it was brilliant. It was a fantastic day for the team. Things are good."

"I think my climbing has come on, so I'm happy. I feel a lot more comfortable on the climbs now than even last year."

If that is true, it again confirms rsn hands off approach, everyone is doing his own thing.:(

Santambrogio will redefine the whole concept of dark horse and will win by 10 minutes.

Lets face it todays Giro Trentino stage showed there's only two contenders for the Giro this year

Santambrogio and Sioutsou.

But seriously, 70% of other giro contenders isn't even here...
