Betancur was definitely stronger. But his chances will be hindered if Pozzovivo attacks early on.

Betancur attacked on the flatter part where Pozzovivo is not that strong. At the steeper part Nibali/Majka/Betancur could nto follow Pozzovivo and Evans and Santa could not follow Nibali/Majka/Betancur. It could be that Betancur held back at that part but I dont think he really did.

He'll be in the second group together with Evans, Uran, Betancur and Scarponi.

1st: Pozzovivo
2nd: Santambrogio
3rd: Nibali
...
4th: Betancur
5th: Evans
6th: Uran
7th: Majka
8th: Scarponi
...

I don´t think so. ;)

Henao will win with an early attack on the final climb.
Betancur/Pozzo/Uran will beat for 2nd.
Evans and Nibbles I think will come togheter.I think Cadel will be a bit stronger than Nibbles. The weather will favour him.
Gesink probably will lose some time.
I hope Kiserlovski will be able to stay with the best and to improve his postion in GC.

Top 10 for me will be:
1.Henao
2.Uran
3.Betancur or Pozzo(depends who attack)
4-6.Nibali-Evans-Pozzo/Betancur
7-10.Santambrogio-Kiserlovski-Scarponi-Majka

Not the most imaginative stage the Giro has ever programmed.

Seems to be a constant feature in this year's Giro.

Why? Please compare and contrast to previous Giro.

I don't agree with that. Betancur looked as if he was bored waiting for the others to catch Pozzovivo so he could launch his own attack :)

AG2R to dominate, Betancur and Pozzovivo to go in a joint attack and take the stage. One of the Colombians is my wild card to take the stage from a break or late break on sestriere.

from the shadow, this chubby face will strike a deadly blow to lots of favourites

Interesting stage tomorrow. Will give a little inside story of who really are the strong ones left in the field.

Expect Betancur to attack but am not sure if he'll win. Nibali wont allow Pozzovivo to go all out I think. Gesink and Scarponi are both likely to struggle.

Pretty open field for a win tomorrow amongst the GC guys.

Yep I think this is likely. I wonder how much stronger Nibali will be compared with his Tuesday efforts. Because Evans is going to be a lot stronger than Tuesday based upon his upwards progression in the race so far and a couple days of recovery on flat stages.

I think if Evans can keep abreast of the other's he will be doing well.

He's better at riding at his own pace and the main place I see him taking time is the ITT.

Will probably lose time tomorrow or next day.

Looking forward to seeing Uran let off the leash.

I predict a pretty easy going stage tomorrow where the big names won't do much except teasing each other a bit. Pozzovivo to attack with 6 kilometres to go, reeled in with 4 kilometres to go, Majka and Kiserlovski will then try some small attacks before Betancur strikes with 2 kilometres to to and gets another second.

Delfino will of course already have crossed the finish line at this point.

im voting for betancourt....i hope he gets his win....he deserves it...also, I am wondering in Col-Coldeportes would play a role in helping Uran. But anyways, I am enjoying the Colombian cyclists renaissance!

Gesink and Scarponi will sure chase, Nibali can just take the ride drop them later
