Where's the proof that this has anything to do with global warming? I loathe that word, or the alternative climate change, for explaining away all variations in weather.

It rained 2mm more this year than average. "Global warming." It was 3 degrees warmer than normal in the beginning of April. "Climate change." The whole of March was 5 degrees colder than normal and a cold record in the Netherlands. "Global warming."

Last reports show that global temperature is not willing to follow the upward trend the climate scientists predicted:

There might be global warming due to human interference, but please, stop using it as an excuse for literally everything. Fact is, climate has been changing forever, not only in the last 50 years as we like to think.

This is off topic so I'll just say this, climate is changing due to human activities. Climate does not effect individual days of weather but it can cause an increase in certain weather trends over time. For example we can start to see stormier weather become harsher and more frequent in certain parts of the world.

The rest of it is well funded climate deniers

Ignoring the rest (which is a theory, not yet proven) do you have any evidence of a single "well funded climate denier"? Thought not.

will be close between the break and the field

How much do they need for the last km?

This can be a real interesting last 500m. At least something.

If they broadcast the pictures from the cameras by analogue they could send them to a plane and we'd have pictures, just like we used to have. If they choose not to do that it's their fault and it's not correct to say that they're blameless; they're just unwilling.

They aren't going backwards. Why would they? What business could survive selling 30 year old wireless broadcast technology that MIGHT be used once or twice?

What makes you so sure? I don't discount it, but there is no way we can be sure it is human activities that cause (part of) climate fluctuation (being sure is unscientific by default).

The problem is that we are relying on models to predict the future. Currently, most models cited had estimated a higher temperature by now than is the case. This doesn't mean that the models are not correct, but it does warrant a discussion on their viability and the conclusions we draw from their predictions.

Because they cant beam from the moto to the helicopter live. The cloud cover is blocking the IR.
As I understand it, both moto and helo (both are operating within the canyons of the climbs) transmit to a fixed wing overhead (3000m-4500m) which then relays to a satellite. The problem then is not that the signal cant get through from one point to another, but that you dont want a fixed wing flying in the mountains when it cant see.
