See that's the problem. Climate change seems to be political. It should be a purely scientific discussion, but its always politicized sadly. Worse actually, it's often resembling religious discussions.

What makes you so sure? I don't discount it, but there is no way we can be sure it is human activities that cause (part of) climate fluctuation (being sure is unscientific by default).

The problem is that we are relying on models to predict the future. Currently, most models cited had estimated a higher temperature by now than is the case. This doesn't mean that the models are not correct, but it does warrant a discussion on their viability and the conclusions we draw from their predictions.

There is actually, human activities are causing climate change, this is a proven fact. We can directly measure how our activities are affecting the climate and prove without a doubt that we are causing it. The IPCC says there is a 90% chance IIRC that humans activities are causing climate change. Years ago it wasn't sure, but it now is. It can't be denied any longer.

In reality the climate is warming at a higher rate and we are seeing changes in the climate faster than was predicted by the models. You just have to pay attention to the right models.

Funny enough. Watching static pictures of the finish line is more exciting than watching Skyborgs ride in a straight line.

They aren't going backwards. Why would they? What business could survive selling 30 year old wireless broadcast technology that MIGHT be used once or twice?

A company wouldn't need to sell them because every television company in the world already had it. If RAI threw all their analogue equipment in the bin then that was a very silly thing to do, and to not consider using older but stronger broadcasting equipment for a sport as regularly weather-affected as cycling is really foolish. It's totally wrong to let them off by saying the weather's bad, because it has more to do with their inflexibility and unwillingness to have a backup system which they know will work to use for days when the weather's not playing ball.
