Too harsh that ? Dunno. Why do you hate Sagan so much ? I mean I don't get some people on this forum. Enjoy this kid amazing talent, don't hate it.

What do you mean? That only people who are better than sagan, is allowed to have an opinion? It's a spectator sport. Spectators root for their favourites, and against their opponents, that's the point.

Looking at the top20 now, Saxo Bank failed yet again. They're all under performing, even Contador. They better get it together otherwise they'll be out of the WT next season and rightfully so.
I saw Bennati at some point on the Poggio, I think. Are Saxo really going that bad?

Can we focus our attention on riders that won and lost today and not make personal attacks on forum members?

Thank you.

Amazing ride from Phinney too. It was earlier reported that he abandoned.

Would be interesting to know when he launched from the main pack, though he really can't have, it almost looked like he made up 14 seconds after the red kite. Monster effort whenever it was he attacked.

Only saw about the last 20k. I had no idea they stopped the race and got into buses until now. Crazy.

You can actually see Phinney in the back there I think. Really impressive by him to almost make it to the front group like that.

eta: and Cancellara looks funny too. Maybe if he had put on his cap straight he would have won - marginal gains. :D

I don't want to get personal, but I wonder if you are suprised people get personal after all the posts you posted in this topic?
Or are trolling big time right now?

Great ride by Sagan, smart Ciolek. Cancellara didn't have legs today.

Sagan said he was really marking Chavanel and Canc and didn't care much about Ciolek. He didn't realize what a great sprinter he is.

The best thing about Sagan he don't care about finishing 2nd. No whining about others not taking pulls, like Canc would do. All he said is he will be stronger in RVV.

All i took from this is that he under-estimated his opponents and that he is over-confident.

I guess he hasn't learned from this race then. Sigh.

You cannot win without confidence. Look at Stannard, he knew he had no chance in sprint so he tried his move. Was he over-confident when he thought he could pull a 10km solo?

Stannard tried to win by breaking away like any great rider does, He couldn't pull it off but continued to put on a great show anyway.

Plus he continued on because placing well is important to any rider.
