Possible, but I think he has zero chance of winning and the GC is long gone, so perhaps we need to question motivation and reason a bit. Perhaps for training.

Maybe he should save as much energy as possible over the next few stages and join a break on the Lyon stage.

Yup

The Hitch has drawn questions over TJVG

Cannot disagree :(

alberto contador to podium.

It would be great if AC could win nevermind podium.

AC is probably best GC of a generation.

I find it sad that his form has faltered under a disputed cloud of ***Clinic***

ROCK ON El Pistolero!

Does anyone know Martin's record in ITT's this year. I know he's won 6 but how many has he raced? Thanks.

I think the only ITT he didn't win was the one at Romandie with uphill kick at the end.

I'm not sure. They need him at full capacity for the Alps and every little bit adds up.

Thomas may be allowed to go full gas.
It's certain that Thomas will suffer the most.
His result shouldn't be measured by his placement.

the likes of tony martin and westra will be riding much earlier than froome.

Jeez. Sad? Him getting caught was great for cycling.

I think Tony is not at his best condition for the crash.

GC riders:

Froome
Porte 20 sec
Kiatlowski 30
Rogers 35
Kreuziger, Fulgsang 40
Valverde 50
Rui Costa 55
Peraud, Mollema 1:00
Contador 1:10
Andy Schleck 1.20
Igor Anton, Quintana, Purito 1.30
Mikel Nieve, Dan Martin, Ten Dam 1.40

With head or cross winds more time.

On the team website Andersen says he calculates with around 3 minutes loss to Froome for Andy, but says they hope to limit the losses to Valverde and Rodriguez.

I am pretty optimistic, I think Andy will surprise with a good performance. But I also expect at least 3 minutes to Froome, probably more.

My bet for the win is Porte, or at least the podium.

I don't think so, he was only 7th in Dauphine and has been struggling the past few days.

I am betting on a spectacular comeback, precisely because of the breakdown... but maybe more fitting in the clinic! :D

Of course it is only a speculation, he'll probably not win or podium
