kingjr said:Astonishing how big the gap is between these 2 and the rest. Greipel belongs up there as well, but then? Sagan always cleverly finding the right wheel but then the gap is just massive.

cg to kittel,very impressive
Ramira said:I wonder how long other sprint teams will accept Argos not riding to reel in the breaks. It was fine at the start of the Tour, but with Kittel winning his 3rd stage now they may well be forced to sacrifice some riders earlier on in the future.

roosters76 said:Sagan doesn't have a lead out. He shed a few pounds in order to climb better, therefore he's not the same sprinter he was last year. Kittel pretty much unbeatable right now, great form. He'll take tomorrow's stage as well.
EnacheV said:As a side note Froome was 14th, 2.5 bikes behind Kittel
Why he was pushing it so hard? Not like would get any seconds over other GC guys because of the crash under 3 km
Confused the Blue-Yellow helmet in front as being Valverde ? There was a MOV guy in 8th
Pulpstar said:Was he sure there was a crash behind him - can imagine Sky radio might have been a bit confused at that point. I thought it looked like Piti too - and he can sprint a bit so maybe Froome was worried about being gapped ?
I'm not saying its logical but he did put his team into the red on stage 9 perhaps naively so maybe he doesn't always make the best decisions. Doubt it will do anything to him with the form he is in anyway.
