If Froome doesn't deserve it I don't know who does. The best climber and the best TTer of the race.

please.... yellow jersey is race leader.
not some school kid whining about losing two marks in a test.

MJ doesn't have anything to do with his riding skills. its supposed to signify a lion, a leader.
(of course, i accept that he was asked to wear yellow jersey due to the skill sets mentioned)

Contador ha dicho en Cope que Nairo le ha preguntado si estaba bien.Su gesto ha sido afirmativo no un reproche. Y twitter matando a Contador

Quintana asked Contador if he was Ok and and Contador responded with a thumb up

So everyone can stop the speculation.....

o ahhhh... the journalist. I thought contador was ****ed at quintana, there goes any possibility of join attack then. Luckily it was a friendly concern by quintana... okay thanks for the twitter carol.

Froome stop whinning. He sounded like andy now. If you are afraid, just costing at the back and holding porte's hand. It's a race, contador got nothing to loose. So wise advise, 'don't follow him'.. if you got something to loose..:D:D

If his knee is swollen tomorrow he might be the one paying the price after his move today. Also surprised that Kreuziger is still so strong, some good racing to look forward to next couple of days when Saxo tries again.

Interesting finish for the GC contenders, but more so the interviews:
Froome was just naive saying that about Contador (guess what will happen in Sarenne)
Contador did say that Quintana attacked in the descent.
Nairo said he only continued the pace to take some time on the stragglers (not that Quintana can do too much given his terminal velocity).

I bet you want velasco to wear yellow lol. But froome has been better than others in TT and climbing so he is the LEADER.

nature of the beast thing.

I think I have understood how to read Mollema and Froome.

Mollema always looks on the verge of collapsing.

Froome always looks on the verge of collapsing.

Am I missing any signs here?

If you are asking me whether i am an alberto fan, then no. in the current pelaton, do i believe that he deserves the yellow more, then yes.
Is froome better than others in TT and climbing? yes.
is froome a leader? no

If you didn't understand what i meant, then you will never understand it. sorry, don't have time to waste on a froome-fan

Imagine if Contador attacks on alpe d huez the first time and gets a couple of minutes on the descent (wishful thinking i know)

Then Froome will go into full alien mode to try and catch him

The way Porte is riding Porte will be there the whole time pacing for multiple climbs

Something up with Cav

This is the reason why

@MarkCavendish: Had the embarrassment of having to stop in a field today in front of the whole peloton with a VERY poorly stomach. #mindyourstep

By that logic, the yellow yersey should be worn by road captains.

Please, if you are the best then you deserve to wear the yellow yersey.
It's the Tour de France not a popularity contest. If you want a new yersey for leaders be sure to suggest one, but the yellow yersey is already taken.

I hope it was the case but apparently Cadena Ser had contador saying it was cos he was angry with Movistar.

If he doesn't like it this yar wait till he needs to follow Nibali in 2014.

I predict huge descents.

The Tour will probably have the most boring and nontechnical decents possible to compensate. Kinda like last year.

Froome should take it easy. Who cares if Contador gets 15s on the descent? Maybe Mollema. Why can't he stand the idea of loosing a couple of seconds? Maybe he's out to prove he's better than Contador, but I think we've all seen that by now.

Anyway, who cares about a bunch of morons riding 10min behind the great Rui Costa? :D

And yes, Portugal is a great country lo live in despite the economical crisis.

So many people reporting Mollema suffering. I just see what's normal when Mollema goes uphill. And he himself repolrted he had no trouble following...

How can you guys still be misleaded by Mollema's awful style?
Seriously even if you don't watch him normally after 3 weeks his style should ring a bell, he's not always in trouble even when he looks terrible
