Froome not happy with AC, he is saying he is getting desperate lol.:D

Lol.. froome can just sit at the back, you know. He doesn't need to follow contador closely. That's contador's choice to push the limit. He got nothing too loose. This is another andy's whinning. If you don't want to crash, ride at the back, and let the other rider who wants to push the limit, go crash themselves. It's a race. Unless you are mollema, who wants to protect his second GC.

Froome says Contador was taking ridiculous risks on the descents and not happy with Contador for doing that. Umm, dont follow him then.

Exactly. Froome needs a healthy dose of STFU.

Do you have a favourite rider? It is just that everytime you comment on Costa is to trash him and trash him only. l

You don't want to go that way pal.

I see you abandoned the factual conversation and resorted to ad hominems. Good to see.

That really shows a lot of understanding about Portuguese culture. Not at all demeaning.

Please enlighten me. What is wrong with that statement?

Bizarre statement from Froome. If Contador wants to descend like a badass that is entirely his business.

He did handle it well at the time though.

No sh*t. Even Armstrong knew to hang back a little bit from Beloki. Gave him the cushion he needed. Common sense. Froome has such a huge lead yet he's so wound/worried/clueless that he has to sit close to Contador on a descent like that.

I jumped like hell when Alberto almost wrecked Froome. Porte is looking great too, all in all a great stage.

Alberto wrecked Froome? Get a grip. It was totally within Froome's control (and should be in his ability, seeing as how he's so naturally talented, eh?) to stay safe there. He didn't, risked it all to stay close, for what reason? And yet you call Contador desperate?

Mollema just talked on Eurosport...said he was fine today...that's not what it looked like, dude's gonna blow up in the Alps.

That Madeleine stage is going to be terrible, Pampelune 96 comes to mind...

If we are going to judge Mollema on his painface than he's allready in trouble after km1

You've got to love the way that AC not only has a dig on the climb and then again on the descent but, when it all goes wrong, he gets Sky (whose leader he's almost brought down with him) to drag him back to the group by claiming he's got a dodgy wrist!!

As far as 'racing brain' goes AC >> CF.

Not 90% of portuguese speaker speak brazilian portuguese. It isn't only Portugal And Brasil who speak it (portuguese). Angola, Moçambique, Timor... also do.

That is what is wrong. Maybe 40%

Contador gets real credit here for at least trying to pressure Froome. Contador's a dirty cheat, but I've forgotten he puts on a real show.

Maybe we'll get more than two Froome alien episodes if Contador can pressure Froome more.

:D hilarious from Froome. :D
Just don't follow him then. Geee.....:D

It is Contadors choice to go as fast as he wants, and its Froomes choice to follow. Danger does not come into it. Its not for Froome to suggest that the reason for the crash was careless riding. I hope Contador didnt hurt his knee !.

Brilliant end to the day. Before that got going they where all laughing and joking around. Not in Paris yet !.

Per other posts, IMHO he doesn't have much confidence he is going to keep his lead. That's ridiculous, but that's why IMHO, he stuck too close to Contador today and went crazy on Ventoux on Sunday.

Imagine if Contador attacks on alpe d huez the first time and gets a couple of minutes on the descent (wishful thinking i know)

Then Froome will go into full alien mode to try and catch him
