To tell the truth I did not expect any podium in flat sprint stages. I am impressed.

Yeah. He'll probably be disappointed not to have a stage win (and therefore hungry), but I think he's done better relative to expectations than any of the other contenders. At least relative to my expectations: I was expecting him to come in somewhere around 5th or 6th in the full-field sprints.

pretty much a great sprint by lotto, and greipel was awesome. i hope for another two wins by him in this tour
i hope quintana and purito will be fine. jani i don't know, i didn't expect anything from him this july. fuglsang will be on his own anyway

Been out riding my bike the whole day (stupid spanish guides tidn't tell me we were going to ride a 5hour off road mountain in really really warm weather) so what happend? Big boy Jani is out:confused::(

He went down and after being examined by doctor got back on his bike and just rode in easy. Hopefully he doesn't have any lasting injuries, but whatever hopes of a high GC he had are gone now.

Ok.. we should really keep up an injury/out list of top 10 gc contenders.
VDB, Brajkovic out, some other top 10 contenders are already behind in time, some favorites like Contador, Rodriguez, Quintana, Mollema all had falls already.

I wonder what the first mt stage will deliver.. Froome had a fall in the neutralization of stage 1, but other then that ofcourse no bad luck for him personally, although Sky already had their share.

Quintana crashed 3 times today and hurt his knee. Costa also crashed with cavendish and a few others with about 30k to go and hit his right knee pretty hard again.

His diary today looked fairly pessimist i must say. :(
