Conty just aint as good as he was in 2009.

Such a shame, I was trying to stay optimistic but he's just not as good as he used to be. He's still a good climber and good stage racer but no longer the best. To be honest it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's going to have trouble finishing top 3 in the Tour

Wrong forum

As i said in the post. this was my reaction to what appears a very exciting stage of this race that this thread talks about. So as i said i do think it has a place on this thread. But i know if can fit elsewhere.

Yes, I think we can now conclude that Contador will never win a race again ;)

He'll be there again soon. Remember that stage in Criterium International, where he was nowhere? I think he won the Tour not long after that.

No. It has no place on this thread. Take it to the clinic

2009 tour was the very first race i watched and after his battles with Schleck i was hooked on the sport would be nice to see him as fierce as he used to be i just don't think he's as hungry as he was anymore then again season has just begun we will have to wait and see what happens.

Can't believe it's starting again. Contador not beating others in February, and now I have to read that he will lose the Tour, should finish his career, and other things like that.

Stage 4: 1 Rodriguez 2 Froome +4 3. Evans +22 4. Contador +27 5. Nibali +36” che invidia questo ordine d arrivo

Still prefer if J-Rod went to the Giro and crushed everybody, but perhaps he can play a bigger role in the Tour. We shall see.

It astounds me that people don't think it's important to get world tour points early on lol You all seem to think we are still in 2006 and that the best racers in the world only peak for the tour

he went too early, he wanted to have fun, he probably could have followed wheels to the top and then lost maybe some time to purito, but held on to froome he attacks and people are unhappy.

From the numbers it looks like AC went too early and imploded. Mental victory for Froome going into TA. Really looking forward to this season even more now (have I said that enough :D). Love to see how these guys to respond to the challenges in front of them. I hope none of them get injured before the Tour.

And thank you Froome for already proving that you aren't Andy Schleck, in that he has come to race. Chapeau sir. Chapeau.
