My maths makes it on GC

Froome
Evans +24
Contador +25
Nibali +35
Purito +45

this would seem accurate now

I wonder has Froome practiced his downhilling over the winter months ?!

Can imagine Nibali giving it a go if it got hairy. Those gaps are too large though.

Rather large time gaps if that all happened in the last km. Can't wait to see the highlights.

According to the Twitter feed, it took them 6 minutes for the last 1 kilometer!
(That's my style; well, on a flat stage!)

My opinion on what i felt about a stage of the Tour of Oman has no place on this thread?

Not when you are inferring doping, no. Read the forum rules. If you want to talk about the race post here, if you want to talk about doping post in the clinic. Pretty simple really.

It astounds me that people don't think it's important to get world tour points early on lol You all seem to think we are still in 2006 and that the best racers in the world only peak for the tour

But Contador don't care about those point...
As his point don't count, only the tour really matters this season.

Look i am not going to win this but i would say my post does not infer doping or non doping, just that suspision can take the edge off enjoyment as it has for me on this stage of the Tour of Oman. Anyway i surrender you win. i did post a picture of the race to try and placate the forum gods.

:D People going nuts again and writing Contador of, because he's not destroying every race he enters.

Typical win for JRod, strong showing by Froome, didn't expect him to be that "punchy".

Where in my post did i mention only Contador? This was aimed at all the GC riders look at Froome... He came here to win just like all GC riders should be aiming for, And he is peaking for the tour aswell.

Oh, look a steady pace can't beat Contador because he'll just attack and that's the end of it.

Chortle.

That's always been the way to beat him--seems to me Bruyneel was the first to mention it back in 2010 Dauphine. I'm curious to see how he responds to the challenge because this will be repeated ad nausem throughout this year.

I think you're forgetting 2012 where the board experts taught us very clearly that Sky are peaking too soon.
