Seems like Orica and Katusha don't want to race, Lampre and BMC keep having a go at Orica near the front.

Maybe the teams that want to race should race and the ones who don't want to can keep going as they are.

I just tuned in to see everyone in a group ride. Was there an accident or something?

Neutralisation. Orica and others don't want to race anymore due slippery roads.

However, some teams are disagreeing.

Is it just me or do the roads look completely dry?

Looks dry, apart from the narrow bit between the waterfront and the start of the finish straight - that part looks a bit 'greasy' and seems to have lots of tight corners, manhole covers and white lines.

i find it surprising that Orica dont want to race and that anyone would listen to them in the first place

I know that Orica has the pink jersey for now, but everyone knows this is only temporary, so I don't understand why teams who want to race are kowtowing to them. If BMC wants to pick up the pace, then should just do it since it isn't likely that they will be counting on Orica for any help later in the race.

should be an Italian or an Italian team making the call
or at least a senior that lives there like Cadel Evans

It's the same as in the Tour a few years back. Cancellara said people should stop racing because of crashes (read: because the Schlecks crashed) and even though some people protested, the part of the peloton that wanted a neutralized stage immediately takes the moral high ground, basically implicitly or explicitly pointing to people that do want to race as anti-social *******s.

Quite similar to how a lot of society works nowadays.

what's the big deal about it? i'm actually happy that the overall contenders will pass this safe. years ago, the peloton wasn't united like now. it's good news

don't you guys remember this also? grande killer boss!
