Uhm... did someone seriously vote Boonen, though he won't be in the race?
Pretty sure he only had three votes yesterday, now he has four...

I voted for him several days ago before it was announced he wasn't racing. I would switch to Degenkolb if I could.

Everybody reads everything you read.. It should be apparent to everyone..

I used Google Translate, as you suggest, and it mentions neither any such hill, not the Belga press agency. Tip-off to the moderators coming your way.
The article changed. :) It doesn't mention the new hill anymore, but I read the original article and Volderke was right.

In which case I apologise, but suggest discretion in making such posts.

apologies, but I decided to spread the 'rumor' quickly, and in this case, it "seemed" reliable, although a quick search on rcs etc. didn't confirm this. I wonder what some 'journalists' (especially the ones doing the websites) are smoking!

Nibali and Stannard aren't riding

Degenkolb? seriously? way overrated, not even in the top 10 this sunday

You do realize that he already finished fifth two years ago, right? And he has shown good form this year. Of course it is possible that he will miss the top ten, but he has to be one of the favorites to win.

Nibali was on the provisional start list and is still on procycling stats startlist. You are correct about Stannard, I must have been looking at an old suggested startlist. Anybody know why he isnt? Would be useful for a long-range attack or as a domestique for EBH.

Ahh yeah not sure where id seen doubts on nibali. he may as well ride even if he's unlikely to win. No idea on stannard, maybe to do more specific work and time a peak for roubaix?

Damm:( Lots of rain forecast as well, though probably not cold or windy enough for him. Hopefully this means he'll be riding a couple of the Belgian races next week

Boasson Hagen looks in better form than last season so perhaps?

Wonder if it's possible to get a bet on Thomas either crashing or finishing 4th. It's a sure thing!

Why on earth 35 people voted for Degenkolb?
Yes,he is good type of rider for this race,he even has a great form but...
Imo there are only 3 scenarios how the race will unfold 1)bunch sprint 2)small group finish 3)individual winner

1)he wont win bunch sprint, there are Cav,Greipel,Demare,Sagan and even guys like Matthews can beat him in a sprint
2)there is like 5%chance in his scenario that in this group won't be Sagan or Cancellara, first will beat him in a sprint, the second will shake off him before sprint
3)seriously?

:)...
There is a better likeliness that Sir Brad will win the Tour again than there will be as surprise MSR winner second year in a row imo.

Edit:I dont think that 35 people who knows a lot about cycling voted him coz of your point from that picture
