Not for the pu...s race again. Heavy shower alteranates with 10-15 km parts without rain. However wind is not so big so far.

RAI is reporting dark clouds over the race even after Turchino but no rain. Temperature is ok.

cannondale was setting high tempo on turchino, dropping about 30 riders, so they're following predicted plan, the gap fell down to 7 minutes there

Some interviews:

Demare: feeling great right now, weather doesn't help but we'll try. My pick for tye win is Sagan.

Nibali: with this parcours sprinters are favoured. You need some allies to make the race hard (hinting at Paolini probably).

Pozzato: my favorite race of the calendar, the one I've always dreamt of winning.
Lampre has different cards to play: Modolo if it's a sprint, me and Diego (Ulissi) if the race harder.
