Right, but there are lots of guys that get some top 10s in week long races. This is something else. I don't think they necessarily expected this.

Mollema has noone to wheelsuck too, that might be the issue.

It's not that nobody on Ag2r can time trial. It's just that if they can it's entirely down to their own efforts.

A few years ago, when other teams were already messing about with wind tunnels, Ag2r took an enormous step forward in their attitude to the TT: for the first time they gave their GC men TT bikes to practice on.

Props to König, but other than him they haven't been visible at all.

Machado was third on GC when he crashed. Their other riders have made some breaks. But they were loud and clear from the start that it was all for Konig. They were the best wild card by far.

Sometimes a post will appear at the bottom of one page at first, but upon refresh it corrects the order and places the post on the next page where it belongs.
