Porte to attack like it's the days of Merckx and gain 7-8 minutes on the guys fighting for 2nd place.

A talent like Purito will really put the new scoring system (which favors the GC types) to the test.

I'm curious to see if Purito can reach his top form just before th Pyrenees-stages. That will mean he can get points due to breaks, but also just by follow the GC man and probarly beat them at the end.

Lets hope J-Rod goes for a difficult mountain stage and win it, instead of all that KOM gimmick.

There are two MTF opportunities just after the 2nd rest days.

Watching J-Rod sprinting against wannabees in chase of 2 points is pathetic.

Contador and Nibali gaining around 1 min on every other GC riders (or wannabe).
Contador getting a gap in the final part.

Nibali looked a bit worried today in the end, don't know if it's annoyed losing the jersey, simply tired or feeling the tension for the big test tomorrow.

Wow Contador fans are really nuts, what are you gonna do if Little Richie will win this TDF? I'm not a Contador fan,i really don't like the guy, but if he's gonna win good for him,i would recognize he was the best and that's it.These reactions towards other competitors are sick:eek:

Not rising to the bait........to old for that crap :D

I hope this isn't a procession to the final climb. Will be a big disappointment--especially with the 1st rest day on Tuesday.

I know. I received so much personal attack since Nibali took the lead. Try to post a different opinion on AC thread. See what happens?

Not rising to the bait. I have never attacked you and never will. I'm all grown up :)

No, still too short for him these hills. But in the high mountains he will crush it. And the time trial of course. I can't see him win overall with less than five minutes.

24 is hot enough when on a long climb, but these riders are more than used to it and should thrive in it.

Badret I expect to go quiet well in this.

I have a feeling Valverde had his bad day on stage 8 and will be much stronger tomorrow.

He said it was the weather, he does much better in the warm. Tomorrow should be a good day for him then :)
