I just hope Astana is strong enough against the breakaway. If no one helps until half Tourmalet, could be that the breakaway gets 5+ minutes again because almost everyone is working ahead.

I think FDJ needs to do something. Peraud will jump him and Valverde and end up 2nd. Valverde showed plenty of weakness yesterday, but his team pulled him back. As it stands he again has 2 team mates upfront. I looked up some results of Pinot in the TT, he's pretty bad, but not absolutely terrible. I expect him to lose at least 45'' in the TT to Valv, so he needs to find at least 1'20 somewhere. If they come fresh under Hautacam then it might not be enough. FDJ needs to marinate Valverde a bit on Tourmalet if they want to podium.

I think it was on Tourmalet but we'll never know if he really made it. It's television and everything is possible. Anyway nice moment, his shadow on the descent was taking up all the road.

I dont think so. Looks like they putt all their eggs in one basket-Majka finishing in top 5. Thats ballsy. Maybe they just want him to learn and grow, and told him 'If you want to get the jersey in Paris you better show that you can hang with the big boys instead of riding with breakaway' and are willing to risk KOM to do that

What for me makes the race is the GC, it can still be exciting but the rating can never be more for me than a 5 when GC is already done after 1 week. That's for me personally though.

People say the tour can't be changed drastically by 1 man but i strongly disagree
