Boring stage, Westra alone won't pull back anything on Nieve and Kadri. FDJ should put the cards on the table. Still a lot of riders in the group. In the descent the peleton will lose some time. Not again a breakaway that succeeds

It took me 2 week and a half to realise that there is a team named bretagne in this tour LOL

Shhh, breakaway succeeding is good :D. Teams should force Astana to burn all the matches and not help them. (And it has nothing to do with Pole being in KOM jersey! ;) )

Westra could be pretty useful to pace in the less steep part of the descent, but he's not making any time on Nieve. Boots needs to take over soon and get this down by a minute.

Breakaway succeeding is not good. It would be great if the peleton explodes, early attacks, Nibali alone. Then Nibali attacking and everyone suffering like a pig. I hope now that FDJ starts pulling in the valley.
Regarding Majka: I think he can defend his jersey.

Your scenario is still possible. There can be two races at the same time. For a stage win, and then the scenario you drawn up happening behind it. Well, if Nibali wins he has to top 5. That would shut up the critics though so would be great but we will see. I am DVRing again. Hoping for really spectacular final climb

It always puzzles me how riders don't even sprint for the money prizes. €5k or something to be first on the top of the Tourmalet and Nieve isn't even bothered.

Although I guess that money will be divided among his team members too.
