Bardet tried to pull a fast one on Van Garderen, but didn't succeed. Both of them finished 5 seconds ahead of the main pack.

Anyway, great stage win for him. I had the impression he really suffered the last ten days.

Kristoff had some bad luck in the last 30k IIRC. He punctured at about 30k, but perhaps the worst was Paolini puncturing with I think something like 8k to go. He managed to get up and place him a little at the end though.

Those two things not happening might make things different, but Kristoff is more of a one speed guy, while Kittel has an afterburner!:eek:

They were both on my manager team, so a 1-2 ain't bad.:D
