Am I imagining that there is more yellow on the Astana jerseys than normal?

Thought I saw a yellow sleeve on them, but the ES hasn't been giving the front of the peloton much air time.

Not a strong enough break in size to stay away i reckon. This is perfect for some sort of GC battle later on between lieutenants or possibly even the big favourites.....please please please make it so.:)

So who will start working? Garmin, Orica? Astana obviously not interested so we might see the first successful break.

edit: well, Orica has Yates in there :)

No obvious stage favourite today so if the yellow jersey team won't chase it'd be a brave call for anyone else to commit to chasing this back.

Adam Yates is the brother i have noticed this season. Can anyone tell me about Simon's potential as a rider?

A bit punchier than Adam - 12th in the Basque country earlier this year then broke his collar bone. Won the 'MTF' at the Tour of Britain last year, showing he's a better climber than Quintana.

Why Terpstra in the break and not Bakelants who at least has a chance of winning? Still too close in GC I guess although 7 minutes is quite safe. Even if Chavanel is dropped he might get back in the descents, I can see him winning this.

Yeah,my theory is screwed,Kelly says the break will stay away.Darn it.:(

No one is interested in chasing them. They'll lose a lot of their advantage when the gc boys come out to play, but yeah, break will probably stay away ( or a portion of it at least)

I still think that Movistar should at least make some effort in trying to win today

OPQS and Orica are the other teams with good punchers but they wont chase..I think its all on Movistar

Maybe Garmin will chase too if Slagter is feeling good
