If i were astana, katusha or movistar i would already do something on Les Giettes.

I wouldnt bet on anyone from spilak quintana froome trio.It should be relatively cold and bit rainy.

I'm interested in how Majka will do today. His form seems to have improved, since he's been near the front and not in his most favoured conditions. If it's dry, he should do well, but I'm still going for the Dawg/Spilak duel.

Race too controlled. Drop the team size to 6 men please.

by this logic, team size should be 1.

i dont think that reducing the team size is going to make it "less controlled". let's just pray to cycling gods that more mavericks get into peloton.

I agree with DandC, reduce team size would help if one doesn't shorten stages as well. No radios would also help.

Ofcourse it helps. Not enough menpowerto control the race from beginning to end.

Uran should go well today but I think Rolland will win.

Its not an either or situation ...Some races have smaller teams and some larger...Some stages long and some shorter...All types of racing need to be on display throughout the year

The problem is if things become the same from race to race

Race situation:

Albasini dropped on Les Giettes.

Break consisting of Maxim Belkov and Bryan Nauleau, they have 4:15 on the peloton.

42km to the finish.

edit: Albasini managed to come back in. Not that it matters at the end of the day.

Lampre still has 4 riders in the bunch.

There's a chance they will reach Les Valettes with more than one rider!

edit: Likely 1/3 of a Serpa.

edit2: make it 6 riders for Lampre.

Apocalypse is just one mountain pass away.

Looks like Froome only has N. Roche as support around

Very weak team after Kennaugh was a non-starter. If he wins he will have to do it in a very un-bot way.
