Bertie on TV looks a bit dissapointed to say the least. Something about his shoulder came up again.

Something about his usual excuses came up again.

Rigo has real pain on the back and he say nothing, In spanish TV they said Contador is ok.

The rule benters will give everybody the same time. You heard it first here...
Nope.

God I hate these stupid crashes. Aru looks more than happy with the pink jersey, enjoy it while you can you stupid donkey. Who would want to take the jersey this way????

Yes.

His highness Contador already asked for it officially in the ESP interview. Just wonder why he didn´t ask for the same mercy when the Porte incident happened a few days ago.

Contador is only himself to blame, he was too far off the back.

Cunego only lost 40 seconds, that makes me a happy man, still a contender for the top 10

he was always a contender for the podium, the real Giro start tomorrow, and will be big changes.

wow.. Porte is just falling apart now. For someone who said that his team mate is ready to rally and gain time after loosing time, now he didn't even honoring his team by gave up today??

He was on Kirienka's bike where the seat height was way too high for him. Piss poor or panic decision by team post crash ..... quite possibly. Certainly SKY looking shabby in comparison to TS reaction with Bertie. Did Porte think he was within the 3km .... possibly, will have to wait to hear from him.

Someone asked re Konig; it looked like he rode in somewhat ahead of Porte.

Well, at least Contador will catch Landa tomorrow and I think he will be very motivated. And he will wear the super duper high technical Sportful skinsuit which is (i guess) more aero than the pink skinsuit provided by the organisers. You have to find positives in every situation ;)

None of this matters because Aru can't TT! He's going to be lucky to be still in the top 10 after tomorrow...
Lol,avatar bet on that?
Bet on what, the fact that he can't TT very well or bet on my opinion that he won't be in the top 10 after tomorrow? I pick the fact that he can't TT very well.. I'll find a good avatar for you, I promise. lol

I can't believe people blame aru for smiling having the jersey.

The guy has prob dreamed about this for more than 15 years and he finally has it. He knows he'll lose it tomorrow so he wants to enjoy the moment.

Crashes happen, it's cycling.

Of course he's disappointed, he's no longer the "greatest defensive GT rider ever"

Still no problem for Berti. Will get te jersey tomorrow.
But he has no longer never lost the jersey.

Who cares at the end. It's all about winning the Giro.
It is a big deal, alright.

Ofcourse it's not. It's only a big deal who care about useless statistics.
It was a fun statistic and now it's gone. That's all. I care more about if he is in good health so he can keep his focus on the big goal for this year. The double, far more important.

Holy Bloody Crap....I went out as this was a boring, flat sprint stage. Came home and watched the final 10km....This Giro will not lay down!!! Well Aru can have pink for 1 day, no problem :).

Who was injured is the the big question now.

Alberto himself cared about it too, and he even said he doesn't give a crap about record books, so it was clearly something special.

I don't see the point of mountain stages anymore, it seems like much bigger gaps are produced in a pancake flat stages.

This is the reason why the GC riders and their teams are always at the front fighting with the sprint teams for the first positions on stages that should never really effect the GC(besides a breakway)

That's why im still pro change the 3km rule to 10km and just let everyone who doesnt care about the last 10km of the race drop out and get the same time as the bunch.

If you don't give about record books, why would you give something about a statistic like that?

Winner of the double, in a time when it's considered impossible to do. That's something really unique.

Konig was on Puccio's bike which was also too big for him. Contador was on Tossato's bike, too big for him as well. Both of them managed to push it a little harder than Porte. I do think there was a little frustration there.

Contador was on Juul-Jensen's bike.
