What do you mean "too short"? Can you point me to some bad results from Martin on a 10-16 km ITT?Pippo_San said:Let's get real. I say showdown between Malori and Dumoulin.
Too short for super Tony.
Alright, I guess I might have overrated Tony a bit for such short courses then. Thanks!DJ Sprtsch said:There hasn't been any shorter than 15 this year, but last year in Algarve (13.6km), T-A (9.1km) and Dubai (10.1km) Martin was 3rd, 4th, 4th.

A 13.6km long course is about 10km too long for Cav to top-10.

or even better froome to dominate the tour without any long range attacksSeriousSam said:Ryo, could you please predict Valverde to have a horrible Tour.

My tips to do well in loose order are:
Dumoulin
Cance
Martin
Kelderman
Dowsett
Sagan
Boom
Dennis
Malori
Matthews
Brandle
Froome
Durbridge
Castroviejo
Valverde
Contador, Nibali and Quintana should all finish in the top 20-25 as well but this is short enough and technical enough that there could be a surprise winner.

If Quintana finishes in the top 25 on a stage like this, then the others might just as well go home. I hope that Spartacus is back on form. Top 5 (in no particular order): Canc, Malori, Martin, Tom D, Sagan. I'll go with Canc.
Who's that? Oh yes, it's Ryo.Ryo Hazuki said:wow tour of denmark!!!!Netserk said:http://cqranking.com/men/asp/gen/race.asp?raceid=24944rghysens said:Netserk said:Will be interesting to see if Cav goes for a top-10 or saves himself for the next day.

According to today's forecast, Saturday will be the HOTTEST DAY IN MANY YEARS, with temperatures expected to rise to the mid 30's, which is mid 90's for Yanks. I now intend to do my shopping, shoot some pictures and film, watch some starts, watch some finishes, and then head back home in time to catch the last 10 or so on tv. Us old folks don't thrive standing out for hours in these kind of temperatures.![]()
