Apperently Froomie went straight in the Astana bus after the stage, and Brailsford went straight to Vino.

Sounds like someone is mad

Sounds like it was to see how Nibali was, no? Good sportsmanship most likely.

@Nets

But how would he rate his chances after spendng himself closing attacks? I get what you're saying, but maybe he's look for a switch in things.
It's not 2km out where he risk being countered. Quickly getting on the wheel of Stybar and then following whoever next would have him in a fine position to launch his sprint.

No he didn't. Just watch the images.
I just did. Contador goes past the crash after Froome clicks his pedal back in. Yet Froome manages to finish behind Quintana who got caught in the crash. How??
My issue is not with Froome getting the same time (which is normal because he was affected, although barely, by the crash) but with him taking advantage of the situation.

You are yet to explain how Froome gained any sort of advantage.

Froome was more than barely affected. He virtually came to a standstill, and I'd say Contador would have been the one taking advantage, quickly accelerating away from the crash. I think it's pretty sad you want Contador to gain time on (specifically) Froome because of a crash.

Absolutely loved how Sagan gave the middle finger to his group of leeches and sat up, effectively gifting the stage to Stybar. A clear statement to everyone who tries to wheelsuck him to victory in the future.
Most ridiculous thing was how others still waited and waited several seconds after Sagan had sat up and Stybar was still in touching distance... only to get beaten by Sagan in the sprint for second.
Its stupid to blame Sagan for anything today, he and Stybar were the only ones from the lead group who took definitive action in the finale.

Might be the case, the report on TV sounded like he was mad, but good sportsmanship makes most sence!

Luke Rowe went with Froome to the bus. People on twitter suggest Valverde said Froome caused the crash... but that can't be right?
They're trolling obviously.

Reading between the lines on spanish media it kind of looks like there was a second crash between Valverde and Froome...

Sky twitter doesn't say anything about a second crash

To me it seems like Tony caused the crash himself. An Etix rider (Stybar?) passed Tony Martin on Tony's right and maybe Tony though he could get on his teammates wheel. But when Martin pulled to the right he took down the Lampre rider?

I see what you mean. But i don't think it will have an impact in this Tour.

And perhaps he had problems with his bike which forced him to change. We didn't see what happened just after he clicked his pedals back in.

Valverde crashed earlier in the stage, his clothes was wrecked around his butt.

So. It looks like the cycling is the team sport afterall :) . No chance for Sagan to win any stage unless it is uphill sprint but only 100 - 200 long :) .

Unfortunatelly in cycling second place is not good enough. He wouldn´t have won anyway even if he folowed the Stybar wheel and he knew it.

The boy needs somebody from team to help him in the situation like this. Otherway he will be always the Mr. Second.

There was some confusion as to who caused the crash, wanted to clear that up with @AstanaTeam @vincenzonibali (definitely wasn’t me!)

Another half rest day and then a crash uphill in perfect conditions.
Luckily the scenic views were spectacular.

Congrats to Stybar.

Valverde blamed Froome for the crash, Froome and Rowe went to Astana team bus and spoke for two minutes. Evidently Valverde has lost his mind.

Froome went to the Astana bus to explain that he did not cause the crash (since some people on the team believed he was the one that caused it)

From the CN ticker.

'Chris Froome went to the Astana team bus to talk to Vincenzo Nibali who fell in the crash. Nibali has signalled to Italian TV that he is ok'

Seems innocent enough. This isn't Nascar. Anybody understand that joke?
