Froome tried to ride away, couldn't do it. Is his shape dropping or is the rain?

Hmmm, if movistar and tinkoff still want to win this, it's maybe not over.
You really think if Froome wanted to he wouldn't win this stage by at least a minute? He's got a massive advantage so is just riding into Paris.

He tried to attack so euh not sure what you're getting at?

It's extremely unlikely i know, but froome definitely tried today and he couldn't. That's a fact.

But that doesn't fit the narrative being pushed elsewhere ...

Ok G. was amazing, but those were not attacks. Those little digs won't trouble Froome ever, they could try them all the way to Paris.

When you as track rider Geraint rides like Armstrong 2004 what are the others supposed to do?

How many climbs were today? Yet they let Froome to arrive with almost full support at the foot of the last climb

He hasn't raced on the track since 2012. I had a lot more hair then as well, but things change

Glad to see the main guys all have a dig at Froome. Annoying though that no one went harder earlier in the stage. I get the feeling that no one will hurt Froome unless they can rid themselves of Geraint/Porte

These were just testing jumps, not all out attacks - maybe in the last stage (Alpe) if Vroom shows some weakness after few softening climbing stages. Right now, even Conti is basically riding for 3rd (and Nairito for 2nd). It's all aboutrecovery.

Great win for J Rod. GC bit of a bore fest again. Sky keeping everyone at there limits. Hopefully in the Alps Froome will find himself alone. Nobody prepared to do anything unpredictable at this stage.

If Sky are really cheating as most of you seem to suggest, how come their technique doesn't work on the supposed climbing domestiques ? E.g. Where are Pouls and Konig ?

They don't want to make it too obvious. They're just evil, they're not stupid. ;)

This is what basically clean cycling looks like folks. If you dont like it go see some 1990s races on youtube

A classics specialists 10s of kgs heavier chasing down one of the best clumbers in the world after working all day?

Sky Jersey = SuperCyclingPowers !

He's 15% heavier but can generate maybe 15% more power, add the fact that the same bike weight benefits the bigger guy. Im sure this is all far to complex for u to understand

You are bringing true comedy chops to the forum. When is your next show?

Great stage. Looked forward to the consumer informations of the Israel ministry of tourism, Bora extractors and German engineered shampoo about an hour in. Why do the gentle climbs of the TdF always flatten out at the top, anyway? To make sure the GC contenders arrive in a pack?
