Wow people happy Froome lost after that perfomance.

Froome didn't get the stage win, but I think in the context of this race so far, this is clearly a victory for him to a certain extent anyway.

This was really entertaining.
Lets see how long will Tom hold on.
I'm sure he fancies his chances now with that time trial.

no worry, it´s ok. no need stage win, he needs to gain time.
stage win too dangerous for the CN and twitter servers.

I said in Alpujarra that if they attacked before maybe Froome won the stagen (it is writted here), today they attaked from the begining and he put time to all those guys who attacked before like Valverde, Quintana, Aru,..so those critics to didnt attack before maybe ha not a big sense.

Wow, what a great finish and stage.

Domoulin looked totally wrecked at the end (after he crossed the line), so i wonder if that was all he had and the bigger mountain stages won't see that kind of result again. I guess we'll find out!

True, but the childish and insecure "HAHA FROOME DIDN'T WIN" stuff is really off-putting.

So at the moment, you have to say Dumoulin can win this Vuelta! WTF!!!

Froome now suddently big candidate too, with Quintana. Nairo looks really solid too.

Bala just not that good. I said it a couple of times already this Vuelta. He will not win this race. Podium will be difficult too.

I hope Purito can still win a stage. Legs are good, but today just two guys who where a bit better. Top-5 however will be difficult. Froome, Majka, Aru, Quintana and maybe Dumoulin will finish ahead of him.

Stages ar for second level riders, champio what really want is the big prize.

If you do a big exhibition in a mountain stage and the stage i with that, better.

it was great to see

him coming back after the first attacks, digging there, losing a few meters, gaining again, attacking and everyone (but Tom D.) losing his wheels, little by little
bravo Froome

Movistar came out firing with their 1-2's, but Tom again uses his strength to attack when the road "flattens" and then rides tempo. He must be massively strong. On Wednesday we'll see if can deal with multiple climbs. He's going into new territory.

Purito was Ok, noyhing to day, he was better than Aru, Quintana, Valverde, Chaves, Pozzo, but Froome is Froome, is getting his best years and Purito is starting to lose his best years, and Domoulin is quite explosive, he was fresher than others and he is in the shape of his life.

He was 3th in Suisse, with a very hard climb suimilar to Mortirolo, he is a serious rider.

The problem for him will be Andorra and Alba.

Actually it was an intelligent ride from Froome, not going with the early attacks but conserving during the initial steep section, the most amazing and strongest ride was from Tom D because despite after lots of attacks and getting caught he found something at the end.

We wait for stage 11 to find who the real contenders will be though

This is shaping up to be a really great race. Honestly have no idea who's going to win the overall. I guess stage 11 will probably clear that up though.

Apparently there is no climb that does not suit Froome.

He's always been good on 15% type stuff, I don't know where the fallacy that he isn't came from.

Valverde given same time as Quintana at the line? Also Froome 2 seconds behind Tom? I counted 5, sure this is nothing new but c'mon...

I'm thinking it'll be one of:

Tom D
Quintana
Froome

Outside shot for Valverde or Jrod.
