Grande Ciccone!!!
He was one of the strongest and worked a lot for Pirazzi, but I'm still gutted for Cunego.

Awesome win by Ciccone :)
Also lol Valverde gains a few more seconds while Movistar doesn't catch the break and Valv gets prevented from bonus seconds. :D

Great for Ciccone to win and Cunego get some more points. Just a pity Amador didn't get pink

Re: 2016 Giro d'Italia - Stage 10 Campi Bisenzio - Sestola 2

Wow this was boring. I expected at least the attempt of a big attack but no nothing. Only Amador trying to get the pink jersey which was so extremely important to the team that they even let Valverde do one of his famous mountain sprints which lead to absolutely nothing since there are no bonus seconds available anymore

Btw Ciccone can thanks Pirazzi with that dash to Cunego on the descent.. I find it quite meh. Happy for that neopro, nothing against Bardiani but that unintentional move to Cunego probably helped a bit !

Pirazzi also worked to eliminate Ciccone's opposition on the descent.

Gained back the 2 seconds he was behind Nibali. If the gap was given, that is.
Still incredibly stupid of Movistar not to pull back the break in a stage that was perfect for a Valverde sprint win

Piti chasing his own teammate ... just to show who the boss is ... what an A$$
I hope you're kidding? The group had already brought AA back. Valverde picked up 4 secs on Nibali and many others.

Pirazzi also crashed afterwards, he was just bad on the descent but yeah, I feel bad for Cunego.

Valverde can win this Giro
That would be a huge surprise, maybe he'll win a pink wig.

In what sense would winning the Giro be a "huge surprise" for a guy who has won a GT in the past and podiumed a GT every year since 2012?

Both big teams are messing this Giro up.

Astana are riding on the front for a team leader who isn't good enough atm to attack.

Movistar are *** up 3 possible stage wins + boni's for Valverde by not chasing the break.
