I know I dissed Nibali quite harshly last week. But let's not make him a worse rider than he is, just because apparently now it looks he ain't as big as everyone including himself was rating him. It's unfair somehow!

Indeed, it's crazy to write him off for losing 30 seconds on a 5500m mountain stage - when there are still five or six days left to gain huge time.

Yeah, I mean, even the great Contador was dropped by Uran, Hesjedal etc at the Giro last year.

A bit premature to write him off as a big rider and the favourite based on today
