Not that I expect much from Majka.
Valverde was slightly dropped in the loop from the Col around the Cime de la Bonette 2008, which they don't this yearjens_attacks said:ok epic nerds, i need to know when was valverde's last super ride on a 2000m+ mountain.
this is why i also doubt zakarin, to be honest
again, i think only astana can attack on agnello. because if a leader goes there, he needs to send strong teamates in the breakaway to wait and help...

Podium is the least of nibali's concern, a stage win is way more important for him.
Gigs_98 said:Astana and Movi to go all out on the Agnello and isolate Kruijswijk. Then Nibali attacks on the final kilometer of the climb and get a good advantage on the descent before he joins his teammates who were up in front. Kruijswijk chases on his own for the whole 40 kilometers between the top of Agnello and the start of Rissoul and then can't follow Chaves and Valverde who attack on the first kilometers of the mtf and gain 2 minutes on Kruijswijk and almost catch Nibali again who gets a heroic stage win a bit like in La Toussuire in the tdf last year.
LMAOPantani_lives said:The most adventurous plan Valverde has in mind is to shake Kruijswijk's hand Sunday on the podium.
Squire said:Isn't the Agnello decent just a typical fast alpine descent? Not sure it's the kind of descent where you can gap people.
Breh said:So much talk about descents this Giro. Especially with Nibali involved.
Surprise surprise, nothing has come from descents so far.

If I remember correctly, yes; I don't think I remember it as overly technical.
