Today is a really hard stge at the end of the race, but...it i a very good stage for the leader, and, it looks like Valverde is not going to risk too much his podium. Just if chaves has a very good day could put in problemsother riders, but I dont think so. I think Zakarin and Nibali will try something, but Zakarin is better in the normal mountain, not this so hard, and Nibali is not so strong to change classification. I think we will se a: I want but I cant for most of the riders.. Despite his luck of team, it looks like Steven K. could win the stage.

I hope anyway an exciting stage, but we are not in the best situation... in a medium mountain stage, or more normal like the other day, Valverde and zakarin will be strongers respect the leader.

And we are not in the same situation becouse I think Nibali is not going for the Giro anymore and there is not alliance with Movistar...

Missing Landa here, of course.

Landa bonked on a climb less steep than a wheelchair ramp. He'd drop like a stone on a day like this. He simply didn't have the form.

The recommended slope for wheelchair ramps is 1:12 = 8.3%! :p

In civilized places it's 1:20, or 5%. 1:12 is brutal for longer ramps.

Probably, they have the right team for the relatively flat section they're doing now, so why let your opponents get riders in the break?

Movistar and astana to send riders up the road. Lotto jumbo foulding trying to control the race.. SK cracking haveing to control the race all by him self. Valverde to ride contra after attacks from the other gc guys. 2.23 seems alot but valverde is as sneaky as a fox and if he sees sk showing signs of weaknees he will not hesitate to attack . Valverde only sucks if they stays in altitude for a long time. The giro isnt over yet

Yeah, and 3.23 is even more.

I don't think the riders LJ are spending now would have lasted on the climb anyway.

Yeah, their team strength is going to fall apart on the climbs anyway so might as well limit the options the other teams have while they are capable. I'd expect a few of the stronger climbers/super doms to make a move early on it and force a group away

typeing error :p And it was more like dream scenairo. Valverde is probably happy with podium but with his skills i would never count him out. If he sees weakness he is gonna attack

Nah, if he sees weakness around him, he'll probably be relieved that his podium spot will not be contested and decide to cruise to Turin defensively.

Yeah exactly but Im really affraid that this Giro is done. SK looks amazingely strong. With his current shape I can't see him cracking. Everything can happen so he has not won until it's done but still. Valverde will be happy with his podium I guess. Let's see wether Nibali has some panache reaction or Chaves really feels that he can go for it.

When is Rai gonna live? Are we able to see Agnello in his whole?

Eurosport also sure loves Roland Garros...Nevermind the crap annoying pre-race, post-race interviews we get and the endless commercial breaks. Last year it was Lemond, now it's Flecha. God I wish they'd have a late night highlights show with that instead of breaking up the regular race feed.

It's not that bad actually this Giro. When there is an important mountain stage, they go live in 5 minutes. Normally i watch Sporza, but at the moment we are terrorized with the Tour of Belgium (each year  ), so i have to switch to ES the next stages. But yesterday Ashley and Flecha were quite fast in their preview. Mostly because RG is banging on the door ;)
